Christie is an award-winning independent film producer and director with a strong interest in social justice. Her first film Waking in Mississippi, with Andre Robinson, focused on the wildly controversial mayoral election in her childhood hometown—a contest that ended in the threat of a race riot. Her short films Chickens in the City, Howdy Partner, and Bodies and Souls have won multiple awards, screened at film festivals around the world, and aired on PBS. Christie’s producing and editing credits include work with PBS, National Geographic, A&E, museums, universities, community nonprofits, and technology companies.

Marc is an Academy Award® nominated producer, multi-award winning director, and executive producer with 20+ years of experience across all aspects of the entertainment and media business. His career focus has been powerful social issue filmmaking across all genres. His credits include: The Power Of Two (Director/Producer), The Weather Underground (Producer), Trembling Before G-d (Producer), among numerous others. In 2014, he works full time as an independent filmmaker, while maintaining a thriving consulting practice, 13thGEN, that guides filmmakers through key stages of development, fundraising, production, post, completion, and distribution.

Brook is a Line Producer with 15+ years of experience on award-winning documentaries and film productions of all kinds. She has worked extensively on science and nature shows for National Geographic Television, Discovery, BBC and PBS. Notably, her series credits include: Shark Week, The Shape of Life, Strange Days On Planet Earth, Jean-Michel Cousteau’s Ocean Adventures, and many episodes of National Geographic Explorer. In addition to being a co-producer on The Campaign, she is currently the line producer on James Redford’s film Toxic Hot Seat.

Sari has been a documentary editor for 15 years. She received an Emmy nomination for her work on Ghosts of Abu Ghraib, which aired on HBO. She has worked on such Sundance award-winning films as Regret to Inform and Paragraph 175. Emmy-nominated Blue Vinyl premiered at Sundance and aired on HBO’s America Undercover. Other programs she has edited have appeared on HBO, AMC, A&E and PBS. Sari’s directorial debut, King’s Point, won Best Documentary Short at Silverdocs 2012, and the film has been nominated for 2012 Short Documentary Academy Award®.
 
 
 

Chris has over two decades of strategic planning, on the ground community organizing and social activism across issues of women’s rights, economic justice and LGBT civil rights; consulting for various political campaigns and has recently served as Field Director for both MassEquality and Equality California; and transferring that field knowledge to work on films such as The Campaign, Out in the Silence, and Impact Stories.
 

Jacob, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and arranger, was born in San Francisco and has lived in New York since 1994. At home in a wide variety of styles and musical roles, he has become a vital part of NYC’s downtown and Brooklyn scene, playing trombone with the Lee Konitz Nonet, Ohad Talmor/Steve Swallow Sextet, The Four Bags, Slavic Soul Party, and the John Hollenbeck Large Ensemble. Jacob has contributed dozens of arrangements and transcriptions for the Kronos Quartet of music from all over the world.
